Nasa Proves the Bible is True: The Missing Day

For all you scientists out there and for all the students who have had a hard time convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible – here’s something that illustrates God’s awesome creation and shows He is still in control.
Did you know that NASA’s space programmes are busy proving that was has been called ‘myth’ in the Bible is true? Mr. Harold Hill, President of
the Curtis engine Company in Baltimore, and a consultant in the space programmes, relates the following incident: “One of the most amazing things that God has for us today happened recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland. They were checking out the positions of the sun, moon and planets out in space where they would be 100, and 1000 years from now. We have to know this as we do not want a satellite to collide with any of these in its orbits. We have to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the planets will be so the whole project will not
bog down. Computer measurements and data were run back and forth over the centuries when suddenly it came to a halt, displaying a red signal,
which meant that either there was something wrong with the information fed into it, or with the results as compared to the standards. They called in the service department to check it out, and the technicians asked what was wrong. The scientists had discovered that somewhere in space in elapsed time a day was missing. Nobody seemed able to come up with a solution to the problem. Finally one of the team, a Christian, said: “You know, when I was still
in Sunday School, they spoke about the sun standing still…” While his colleagues didn’t believe him, they did not have an answer
either, so they said: “Show us.” He got a Bible and opened it at the book of Joshua where they found a
pretty ridiculous statement for any one with ‘common sense’. There they read about the Lord saying to Joshua: “Fear them not, I have delivered
them into thy hand; there shall not be a man of them stand before thee.” (Joshua 10:8).

Joshua was concerned because the enemy had surrounded him, and if darkness fell, they would overpower him. So Joshua asked the Lord to
make the sun stand still! That’s right – “And the sun stood still and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their
enemies. Is this not written in the book of Ja’-sher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hastened not to go down about a whole
day.” (Joshua 10:13).

The astronauts and scientists said: ” There is the missing day!” They checked the computers going back into the time it was written and
found it, but it was not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua’s day was 23 hours and 20 minutes – not a whole day. They
read the Bible again and there it was: “about (approximately) a day.” These little words in the Bible were important, but they were still in
trouble, because another 40 minutes were still unaccounted for, and this could mean trouble 1000 years from now. Forty minutes had to be found
because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits. As the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible which
said the sun went backwards. The scientists told him he was out of his mind, but once again they opened the Book and read these words in 2
Kings. Hezekiah, on his deathbed, was visited by the prophet, Isaiah, who told him he was not going to die. Hezekiah asked for some sign as
proof. Isaiah said: “Shall the sun go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?”

And Hezekiah answered: “It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; nay, but let the shadow return backwards ten degrees.”
And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the Lord, and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.” (2
Kings 20:9 -11). Ten degrees is exactly 40 minutes! Twenty-three hours and twenty minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in 2 Kings accounted for the missing day in the universe!

God uses Organizations such as Nasa to show man that His word is 100% true. The explanation is perfect to the minute.I serve an awesome God and the creator of the universe. Why would one not believe. I will never understand.

  2. Quintin says

Praise the LORD he and his word (bible) are true and GOD does exist we just nbeed to finnd him ….i pray that GOD forgives my sister in Christ Babra Evans for her comments and i pray that a miracle occours so that he thoughts change

  3. Luke says

Barbara, Thanks for the links! This story was brought up in a discussion this evening and seemed quite impossible (the NASA story).

    God Bless America!

  4. Mari says

I agree with Barbara. Every thing in the Bible is true, even though the NASA story does not check out. Urban legends usually starts out witht those kind of “what if’s”. We should be wise and follow up these kind of stories. Good for you Barb.

  5. Doubting Like Thomas says

I don’t know whether to laugh or weep! They who sent me this story, expected that, because it IS true, I would be fair and rational about it, and dismiss all my doubts as to the contradictions in the Bible, and accept every story as literally true. But when the NASA half of the story was proven false, they would not be fair and rational anput it, and accept that parts of the Bible DO contradict other parts, and both parts cannot be equally true.

  6. Doubting Like Thomas says

God be praised for WHAT, Matthew? That the NASA story has been proven false, but people still refer to it as true? There should be no untruth involved, when discussing the Bible. If the people tell lies when promoting the accuracy of the Bible, it causes temendous damage to our belief in the Bible, when the lies are discovered.
I cannot reconcile the belief of some Christians that an Intelligent Designer made us in His image, with the belief of some of these SAME Christians, that we are FORBIDDEN to NOTICE that, in the story of Noah’s flood, God makes the First Rainbow. But, since God’s own laws of nature would cause light, shining through clouds or through the mist of a waterfall, to make a rainbow at any time, and since, on the First Day, God said that light was “good”, it would NOT be true that, after the Flood, God suddenly realized that light wasn’t good ENOUGH, and that He changed the properties of light so that, from THEN on, it would make a rainbow.
I suppose I will now be judged by you good people, as being an awful person, for having noticed the contradiction.

  7. Man of the one, true God says

How could you be so arrogant to come to public site like this and question the Word of your creator and the creator of the universe, God Almighty? You have some nerve to stand in the presence of God and say that his word has contradictions in it. Any corruption with your bible isn’t because of God, it’s because you’re studying a corrupt translation. I’ve read the KJV Bible for 20+ years now and have yet to see any contradictions in any part of it. God is perfect and in him there is no darkness, he is everlasting and the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, and he says he will preserve his word and it will not return unto him void. God didn’t change the properties of light, he said that he will place his BOW in the sky as a sign to the jews of the covenant between him and Noah. Study your Bible more and pray that God leads you back in the right path as I will for you also.

PS – just so you know, Thomas never was a doubter. He spoke that wouldn’t believe until he saw the nail prints in the hands of Christ, the hole in his side, and put his fingers in them but as soon as he saw Christ, he fell to his knees and said “my Lord and my God”. When Christ was going to his death, Thomas says “let us go that we might die with him”. If that makes him a doubter then count me in his number.

  8. Doubting Like Thomas says

Thank you for your reply. Please expand your explanation. If God placed His bow in the sky, and it was NOT a rainbow, not the natural result of light shining through clouds, what was it?
As for my choice of Thomas as a role model: Do you DENY that Christ has the ability to appear to me in unmistakable physical form, as He did to Thomas? I am puzzled by those who claim that Jesus loves me enough to spend three hours of abject agony DYING for me, but just doesn’t LIKE me enough to drop by the house for a five-minute chat. You perceive me as arrogant for questioning the Word of God. I perceive me as questioning the way the Council of Nicaea decided which passages of ancient writings got into the Bible, and which were not allowed. Either there were clouds of mist, and rainbows, before Noah, or there were not. Why would there NOT be?

  9. Man of the one, true God says

There’s no need to worry about the Council of Nicaea. The real question is, do you know Jesus the Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? Jesus will be more than happy to come in and spend 5 minutes with you. He says “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Do you know him and believe in him? If so, there is no need to worry about what is right or wrong, the Holy Spirit will guide you in the right direction everytime.

  10. Doubting Like Thomas says

The IMPORTANT question is whether I know the Being you refer to as “Jesus the Christ”, and whom you would prefer me to have as my “personal Lord and Savior”. But I have been instructed that, in order to HEAR his voice, I must put aside any doubts about the historical and/or scientific inaccuracies in the King James Bible. So I’m focused on WHY that is a requirement, and specifically why I am forbidden to believe that there were rainbows anyplace that light shone through mist, in the centuries between Adam and Noah. Either there were, or there weren’t. If there weren’t, then the properties of either light, or water, were changed at that specific historical moment. If there were, then the story of the rainbow being created at that specific moment is a myth, a myth made up by mere mortal people with no idea what causes rainbows, and as such, has no place among the moral lessons and absolute facts in God’s Word. Either I am ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED to believe it, or it is NOT IMPORTANT, and I am not required to believe it.
So, in your opinion, am I required to believe it?
    If so, why?
    And if not, why not?

  11. Man of the one, true God says

My friend, Where did you hear that? That’s not at all correct. How could a lost person possibly understand the Word of God? The Bible says “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” This means in order for your faith in God to be there and to be strong, you have to be in the Word of God constantly, you have to hear and study the Word of God. It’s like when you were in grade school, you couldn’t expect to just wake up the morning of a test and now the information. You had to study for the exam right? It’s the same way with the Bible, you have to study it all the time and God will reveal himself to you. God loves you so much, that he manifested himself in the flesh thru his son and sent him to the cross to die for our sins so that we could have eternal life. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever would believe on him, would have eternal life”. “He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Do you believe Jesus came to this Earth, died for your sins, rose on the 3rd day, and now sits in Heaven at the right hand of the father? If so, then just call on him, tell him you’re lost and that you want him to save you and he will. After that, just get in the Word of God as much as you can and he’ll move you to what is the truth. Don’t listen to what other people tell you about the Bible. If you really want answers, go in your room, shut the door, turn everything off, get on your knees, and ask God what the truth is and he’ll answer it for you. Your belief in the Bible and in God’s word will grow stronger the more you study and closer walk you have with him. I truly hopes this helps and that you find the Lord. If you need any council or advice, I’m here.

  12. Doubting Like Thomas says

You keep quoting other portions of the Bible, and you keep referring to it as the Word of God.
I’m trying to keep the discussion as simple as possible.
Either the flood of Noah happened exactly as the Bible reports it, or it happened differently.
The hardest part to believe, is the part where Yaweh puts the First Rainbow in the sky.
In your opinion, am I required to believe that the story of the flood is accurate, or am I not?
At the very least, one would expect The Word of God to be accurate in the simplest and most easily provable details, such as the basic laws of physics.

I should very much like your next answer to be limited to either yes, or no.

Am I required to believe that there were no rainbows anywhere on Earth, between the creation of Adam and the birth of Noah?

  13. Man of the one, true God says

I can’t say if the laws of refraction existed or not but if God said it was good then he didn’t change it. Its your choice what to believe but the Word tells it as And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” Genesis 9:12-16
According to Genesis and the way God introduces it, the rainbow appears to be a new concept.
Rainbows are multi-colored reflections of the sun rays through water condensation in the sky.  Many suggest that before Noah it never rained.  That means plants were watered from the ground up, not the sky down.  When Noah’s flood strikes, the passage reads “the fountains of the great deep were opened.”
Also, in a perfect world as described in Eden, there are no catastrophic weather incidents like floods, tornadoes, hurricanes caused by the abundance of precipitation in the sky.  If water flowed freely under the earth, then more water existed underground than in the sky.
The earth existed in a perfect environmental terrarium, with an equal balance of light and moisture.  It could explain why people lived so long.  Then, after the flood, the water balance shifted more to the sky causing precipitation events like rainbows.

  14. Doubting Like Thomas says

Gee, all I asked for was a yes or a no, as to whether or not I am obligated to accept, as scientifically accurate, the story of the First Rainbow. Gen 7,v4, has God telling Noah that He will cause it to rain upon the Earth. And Noah never asks “What is rain?” If Noah knew what rain was, before the flood, then there were clouds from which it fell.
This whole page began with somebody, years ago, spreading the story that a NASA experiment PROVES that the Earth spun, briefly, in the opposite direction. But there never was such a NASA experiment. The myth, the legend, that the shadows moved backwards, was easy to believe, back when people thought the Earth was immobile, and that God or Apollo or some other powerful Being, moved the sun across the sky.

And various other people have other ancient tales, myths about what the rainbow is, and how it got there. God, by definition, would not need a reminder about anything.
For some years now, I have been asking if anyone would let me send them one of my two copies of the King James Bible, and have them cross out all the passages which one may safely disregard, as being either unimportant or inaccurate. This really annoys True Believers. Still, we are commanded to put to death anyone who does labor on the Sabbath, yet I haven’t heard of any case recently where some Christian beat a gas station clerk to death (with stones) and then told the jury that he was simply obeying God’s Word. You guys & gals get to pick and choose which passages you want people to believe God really meant, and you get to pass Judgement upon those of us who point out that either EVERY passage of God’s Word should be given equal weight, or every passage should be scrupulously examined for error, and those which cannot stand close examination, should be deleted.
It has long been my opinion that IF God wants a lot of people to connect to Him(or Her or It or Them), then God would have provided MANY religions by which the majority of people would be able to make a connection. And when I carefully point out that God, by definition, IS smart enough to design dozens of Religions, you guys & gals get all mean about it, and accuse me of saying God is stupid. I never said God is too stupid to have designed more than “One Way” for people to connect to God. That’s a line in YOUR Bible. The good news is, there’s no proof, outside of the Bible, that Jesus even said it.
Bible says no man cometh to the Father except by becoming Christian, Bible says the shadows moved backwards, Bible says there were no light-refracting mists between Adam’s time and Noah’s, Bible says we should stone people who gather fuel on the Sabbath.
Since your electric meter proves that your house was gathering electrical energy from the grid,to microwave your snacks, on the Sabbath, thou hast violated a precept written in God’s Word. When your fellow Believers stone you to death, I hope the first stone renders you unconscious, so you don’t suffer a lot of pain.
As for me, I shall cling to the virtue of Hope, and continue to Hope that God, by definition, is INfinitely wise and INfinitely merciful, and that God will understand that, since GOD gave me a skeptical mind, I am using it the way God designed it, and God will not punish me for asking questions.

  15. Man of the one, true God says

Did you ever stop to think that maybe Noah trusted God enough and had enough faith in him that he didn’t have to question “what is rain?”. He knew that no matter what God did he would keep him and protect him so there was no reason to ask questions. You see all throughout the Bible where God tells Abraham to offer up his son and Abraham doesn’t even have to think about it but God stops him and shows it was a test of his faith. God told Lot and his family to lave the land of Saddam and Gomorrah b/c he was going to judge the land and they picked up and left without questioning. You’re looking for a complex answer when the answer you’re looking for is so simple many 5 year old children can understand it. Hope isn’t the thing to look for, it’s the word I keep using over and over FAITH!! God works thru faith, the book of Hebrews tells us this. It takes you being obedient to him and giving your life to him in FAITH for him to work in your life. Even Jesus himself was taught obedience thru his struggles here on this Earth not b/c he was imperfect like us but b/c it was to make better then he already was. The woman in crowd had the FAITH of if I could just the hem of the garment, I would be made whole and Jesus tells her “your FAITH has made you whole” not b/c you hoped. The Bible doesn’t say Christianity is the way but rather Jesus Christ is the only way to get to heaven. God didn’t give many ways but thru one way, his only begotten son. If there were many ways then for Jesus to come to the Earth and die was in vain. God never designed any religion, all he said was follow me. The problem with the world is to many religions. I first and foremost follow God above any religion.

As for the comment on me being stoned, let me say first and foremost that a comment like that was quite rude and uncalled for. I am a new testament Christian and that law was for the old testament Jews. My Sabbath isn’t on Saturday but Sunday b/c rose on the first day of the week. I observe his laws as an act of submission but am nor required to live by them to go to heaven. I live in period of grace, I am not needed to be stoned b/c under the law of God, you were expected to live a perfect life to get into heaven, which none of us can. So God sent himself to this Earth and paid the price that we were all suppose to pay. He lived the life we were suppose to under the law and died for us so if we wanted to go to heaven, all we have to do is except him as our Lord and Savior. It’s God working in his infinite wisdom and sending us the gift of salvation. He’s so wise and all knowing you read his promise to satan about the gift of Salvation in Ch. 3 of Gen, God said he will send someone from the line of Eve, which was Mary’s line and the person he sent was Jesus, to crush the head of satan. That’s what Jesus did for us, he gave us victory over death and hell. If someone wants to stone me, fine with me. I consider it an honor to die for the name of God and I see it as no man takes my life, I lay it down myself b/c I serve an all powerful God that at anytime can save me but more than anything I want his will to be done in my life.

I don’t think God punishes for asking questions as long as you’re not questioning his authority. It’s okay to say “why did this happen?” but not okay to say “well if you’re so powerful God, why didn’t you stop this?” Jesus tells satan “thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God” and that’s what you’re doing when you ask questions like that. My friend I hope these talks have helped you. I will continue to pray for you and I hope you find the Jesus as your Lord and Savior before judgement day.God Bless

  16. Doubting Like Thomas says

Well, there you have it, friends and neighbors.
I have some Christians telling me that SOME portions of the King James Bible may be disregarded, because they applied ONLY to the Old Testament Jews, some Christians telling me that NO portions of the King James Bible may be disregarded, for it is the Word of God, applicable to all men everywhere.
And I am not asking “Why did this happen?” as regards the report of the First Rainbow.
    I am very specifically asking
“If this did NOT happen, why would God inspire somebody to INCLUDE it in a book which is supposed to lead us to the Truth?”

Since (as you point out)Jesus was promised in Gen 3, as a Savior, then it would be obvious that God knew ahead of time that, even after he drowned several hundred thousand children (all too young to have sinned), the Earth would STILL be a nasty place, still NEEDING a Savior, after the flood.
Any God who kills more babies than Herod ever did, knowing FULL WELL ahead of time that it won’t fix the problem of sin & violence, can’t claim to be Pro-Life.

Back to the NASA question: Did anyone who rejoiced that the report from Mr. Harold Hill, of the Curtis Engine Company, proves the Bible to be absolutely accurate, later abandon their belief in the absolute accuracy of the Bible, upon discovering that Mr. Hill had borne false witness?

That’s the part of any system of beliefs that impresses me the most. To a believer, anything that reinforces belief is “proof”, and anything that does not reinforce belief, is dismissed as unimportant, even if it is a checkable fact that shows a previous “proof” to have been a deliberate lie. Religion, racism, politics, and falling in love with an imprisoned murderer who killed the last person to whom they were married….. none of these belief systems are much affected by rational argument.

I do not believe the shadows moved backwards, since the physics involved would violate God’s own Laws of Nature.

Neither do I believe that there were no clouds during the first several centuries of humanity’s activity upon the planet, for the same reason.
And I apologize for using the word “reason” in a discussion of Religion.
As to whether or not anybody should be stoned to death for microwaving a snack on the Sabbath:

I meant it not as an attack, nor an insult, but as an example of the ability of various people to find passages in the Bible, with which to justify their intolerance of others.

We don’t seem to be making any progress toward an understanding of which passages are applicable, and which are disregardbale, do we?

  17. Man of the one, true God says

Man you have a real problem understanding don’t you? When did I ever say that any text in the Bible could be disregarded? All I said was that my portion of having to live by the law has already been fulfilled thru the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. If you haven’t accepted him then you have to live a perfect life, by the law, to get into heaven. If you accept Jesus, then the part of living by the law has been done for you. As to your question, if God said he put a rainbow in the sky, then I believe with all my being that up until that time there was no rainbow in the sky and he made one show. As I said before, before the flood the Earth was watered from the ground not from the sky so it doesn’t mean the law of refraction were not there just that they didn’t apply at that time b/c of how the water came from the ground and not the sky.

As for the murdering of babies, God gave man a conscious to choose to do right and wrong. We are not just mindless drones walking around under his control. God didn’t kill those babies, Herod did and Herod later paid the price for his sins by being murdered himself. God made the world perfect but sin is what has caused the world to be what it is today. He could have stopped it and killed satan a the time sin was first done but he couldn’t b/c mankind would have not had anyway to be connected with God again. He put in place his perfect plan of salvation to bring us back to him b/c he made us and loves us. He also says we are not under the

I’m sure some people did fall away from God if they did prove this was lie as many people fall in and out of the will of God on a daily basis but the great thing about God is if you’ve accepted his Son, he’s quick to forgive. God says there’s only one sin he can’t forgive and that is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. What this means is when God knocks on your heart and asks you to accept him, when/if you deny him, you’re standing before God and blaspheming your creator by saying my righteousness is better than yours. The Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags but if you accept Jesus then you’re washed in his perfect blood and adopted as a son of God.

Let use the shadows moving backwards as an example to see if I can clarify it for you. God created the law of physics so he could change them and alter them how he wanted without reasoning. I am a software engineer, if I create an application I have to modify and change that application as I will without regard for anything else correct? B/c i am the creator of it I own it and am it’s master to change it to do my will. Does that make sense? God says my ways are not your ways and your reasoning is not mine. That means everything he does, he does for the better of his children so to prove he was God of all creation, he answered Isaiah’s prayer and moved the sun back 40 minutes b/c he created it and is the master of it. Same way he can hear millions of prayers and answer them at the same time. He made time so he operates on an ability above and beyond the time we understand.

As for the passage that are applicable and not, ever verse in the Bible needs to be applied as the truth. Revelation 22:18-19 tells not to add or remove from the word and it goes on further to tell you what will happen to you if you do. In the old testament more than 300 prophecies were fulfilled by Christ Himself at His first coming as a baby. Down to the place he would be born and even that not a bone in his body would be broken when he died. For example, Daniel the prophet predicted in about 538 BC (Daniel 9:24-27) that Christ would come as Israel’s promised Savior and Prince 483 years after the Persian emperor would give the Jews authority to rebuild Jerusalem, which was then in ruins. This was clearly and definitely fulfilled, hundreds of years later. There are extensive prophecies dealing with individual nations and cities and with the course of history in general, all of which have been literally fulfilled. Only the Bible manifests this remarkable prophetic evidence, and it does so on such a tremendous scale as to render completely absurd any explanation other than divine revelation.

Another striking evidence of divine inspiration is found in the fact that many of the principles of modern science were recorded as facts of nature in the Bible long before scientist confirmed them experimentally. Roundness of the earth (Isaiah 40:22) Almost infinite extent of the sidereal universe (Isaiah 55:9) Law of conservation of mass and energy (II Peter 3:7) Hydrologic cycle (Ecclesiastes 1:7) Vast number of stars (Jeremiah 33:22) Law of increasing entropy (Psalm 102:25-27) Paramount importance of blood in life processes (Leviticus 17:11) Atmospheric circulation (Ecclesiastes 1:6) Gravitational field (Job 26:7).Although it is a collection of 66 books, written by 40 or more different men over a period of 2,000 years, it is clearly one Book, with perfect unity and consistency throughout. The one consistent theme of the Bible, developing in grandeur from Genesis to Revelation, is God’s great work in the creation and redemption of all things, through His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

My comments on these posts have been to try and get you to think outside of your mindset and realize that there is a God you need to be worshipping and serving. My charge as a Christian is to lead men to Christ and I want to see you in heaven one day and not be casted into hell at judgement b/c you’re thinking with Earthly mind and not turning to God for the answers in his book. America is a free country my friend and you have the right to believe what you want. I’ve given what I can to help you find God but if you choose not to believe in God in doesn’t hinder me, I’m on my way to spend eternity with God. I’ll keep praying for you. God bless.

  18. Doubting Like Thomas says

Can we then at the very least agree on a few basic things?
First, that Mr. Hill should be heavily criticized for [A]believing that the Bible NEEDS independent verification of its truthfulness, and [B]for bearing False Witness, even in what he thought was a noble cause?

Second, that Barbara Evans says she DOES believe in the Bible, but not in the falsehood perpetrated by Mr. Hill?
Third, that Quintin rushes to pass judgement on Barbara AS IF she has said that she does NOT believe. He considers it his Chrisrian duty to do so, and he specifically says thay he will pray “… that GOD forgives my sister in Christ Babra Evans for her comments…”! Why should God have to forgive her for claiming that the Bible is true, and Mr. Hill spread a lie?
Fourth, that people who accepted Mr. Hill’s falsehood AS IF it were true, give Christians a bad name, since it makes them look AS IF they are easily misinformed, and will believe any foolishness that comes along.
Fifth, that Jesus meant what He said, when He said that Faith will move mountains.
Here endeth the portions upon which we might agree.

If Faith will move a mountain, it should reasonably follow that my Faith in God’s INFINITE mercy, might just POSSIBLY squeak the gates of Heaven open wide enough for me to slip in, even though in the Judgments of mere mortal men, I am perceived as arrogant and lacking in understanding, and even perceived-by several people so far- as being guilty, guilty, guilty of blaspheming against the Holy Spirit.

If saying that “the First Rainbow story doesn’t make sense” is, in fact, blasphemy against the holy Spirit, then I’m already damned, since it cannot be forgiven, and I’ve already said it.

I appreciate your efforts on my behalf, but if your Judgement of me is accurate, there’s nothing can be done. Blasphemy is too serious a charge for Jesus to forgive.

  19. Man of the one, true God says

I agree that if Mr. Hill knew what he posted was wrong then he should not have posted it but Jesus says, let him who is among you without sin cast the first stone. I can’t judge him because I’m not perfect myself. You have to leave it to God to judge him for his sins and no one else. Jesus did mean what he said when he said that to have to faith as big as a grain of mustard seed could move mountains. I agree that some Christians will give people a bad name by not studying the Word and not knowing what God says but once again I have to ignore that b/c, I’m not the one to be the judge. If they haven’t studied their Bible they will have to an account to God for that.

As for your comment on blasphemy, I never said your question of “the First Rainbow story doesn’t make sense” was blasphemy I said to deny the Holy Spirit was blasphemy. I’m sorry if I came off as if it seemed I was judging you, that was not at all my purpose. If you seek God, we will convict you of your sins and try to save you. If at that time, you deny him then that is the blasphemy I was speaking of. You are not damned until the day of judgement my friend, until then you always still have a chance with Jesus.

On judgment day there will be no squeaking into Heaven. You will stand before God and he will point to the ten commandments and ask if you lived your life without breaking any of these laws. If you’re answer is no, and everyone’s answer will be no, then he will turn and ask if your name is in the Lambs Book of Life. If it is not you will be tossed from heaven and down into Hell for all eternity. A place where their is gnawing and Gnashing of teeth, a place of your worse nightmares. Everyone will have to before Jesus and proclaim him Lord so why not just take the knee now? Be sure of your eternal salvation and have victory over the devil. Don’t face your creator on a chance and hope. Go before him and be sure that when your name is looked for in the Lambs book of Life, it’ll be found and you’ll be allowed to enter Heaven.

Sorry guys, NASA has never don such research and they cant. Im posting the article i found.

This story, in one form or another, has been around since the 1930s, long before NASA even existed. Of course in the original iteration all the calculations were done by hand, not by computers. Ultimately, virtually every statement above is false (well, the Bible references are accurate, but you get the idea).

First of all, NASA has never run simulations as those listed in the story. Why? Because they would have no reason to. The author of this tale attempts to lend credibility to his prose to explaining that NASA needs to run these simulations forwards and backwards to assure that satellites operate properly. This simply isn’t true. Most satellites are designed to operate for only a decade or two, so running simulations for hundreds of years into the future is useless and a waste of resources.

And NASA would have no reason to ever run the simulations backwards. The claims that they would need the information obtained from such an exercise are, again, false. But let’s assume for a moment that they did run one of these simulations backwards. The only way that the computer would know that a day was missing would be if it had the actual astronomical data from millennia past to compare to. Obviously we have no such data. So even if we it were true that there is a missing day in history as the Bible claims, there would be no way to verify this using computer simulations. We don’t, and will never, have the data needed to confirm that specific claim.

Whether you believe the claims of the Bible or not, the truth is that neither NASA or anyone else will ever be able to prove the story of the missing day one way or another.

  21. Doubting Like Thomas says

Several 9’s, that is my point, exactly. The NASA story has been proven false, yet those who enthusiastically urge me to accept it as proof that the Bible is 100% accurate still insist, even after the NASA story is false, that the Bible is still 100% accurate in its scientific and historical reporting of such unlikely events as the reversal of Earth’s spin, and the lack of clouds.

Clouds are not mentioned between the story of Adam and the story of Noah, and to some, this is “proof” that there were no clouds then.
It is very inconvenient to Believers that neither marsupials nor bison were mentioned, either, since, by the same standards, that would mean they didn’t exist either. But when people began sending letters home about what they saw in Australia, there were dozens of species of marsupial, which MUST HAVE somehow gotten there FROM where the Ark landed, without leaving any trace of their migration, and without being able to swim the ocean between the two points. Same deal with the North American bison.

Why is it FORBIDDEN to regard the Bible as a collection of stories, some true, some fiction, some exaggerated fact, some entirely mythical, which may be studied as part of a process by which a person might be more closely connected to the Divine?
Why do people continue to insist that it is not at all possible that the mere mortal men of the Council of Nicaea may have been influenced as much by their culture and their lack of scientific knowledge, as by guidance from the Holy Spirit?

As for myself, I have been informed, by three different Christians, that this is THE fact about Matt12:31, where Jesus says that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall NOT be forgiven.
Mr. R.M informs me of the FACT that in Matt12, Jesus was not teaching and preaching to persons such as me, but ONLY to the Jews alive at the time of His earthly ministry.
Miss J.C informs me of the FACT that Jesus was not teaching and preaching to persons such as me, but ONLY to people who have been filled with the Holy Spirit, and then reject the Holy Spirit.
And Mrs. F.H. has informed me of the FACT that Jesus was teaching and preaching to persons such as me, and to all men and women everywhere.

Three sincere Christians, each implying that the other two have got their FACT absolutely wrong.
And each bases their opinion on EXACTLY what Mr. “Man of the one, true God” says:
Reading the Bible and asking God’s guidance in understanding.

Since there are that many different and mutually exclusive opinions on just one sentence in a rather large book, and since at least two-thirds of them must be wrong, it would seem that I might risk only a one-in-three chance of getting my opinion in line with God’s.
And, since Man of the one, true God says I’ve got to agree with God, or go straight to Hell, the odds are 2 to 1 against me.

You guys figure out which of the 3 is the proper opinion, and let me know.
Until then, I shall continue to have Faith that God is, by definition, INFINITELY reasonable, and will not cast me into Hell for wondering why stuff that reads exactly like ancient mythology, is presented as a scientifically accurate report of a specific moment in hostory.

  22. Susie Q says

Of course, Snopes has published the truth here:

    http://www.snopes.com/religion/lostday.asp
    (Hint: It;s just a myth – a story)

What I don’t appreciate – in any circumstance – is Christians passing off some hoax, lie, untruth, or myth, if you will, as somehow being the “TRUTH”. This is especially the case when the truth is merely a few buttons or clicks away. Lies only serve to invalidate the Christian religion. In other words, it makes us all look like a bunch of idiots & unbelievers will further unebelieve. It’s the same reason that, while I AM a born-again-Christian, although I am a minority apparently, I refuse to wath FoxNews since it is the network which FACTUALLY lies the most. They actually fought for the right to lie in March 2003 in Florida when 2 reporters refused to report lies – they sued the reporters & won the court case. The judge said that they cvould “lie” since there was “no legal definition which defined ‘the News'”.

We should all know that lies are the very tools that the False Prophet uses to turn otherwise good Christians, maybe unbeknownst to them, into ineffective, non-Christians. On top of that, they will do the Christian religion a HUGE disservice in the eyes of all. By publicly professing that 35% of Christians think that President Obama has no birth certificate embarrasses me as a Christian. And 25% believe that he is the AntiChrist?!?! That’s even worse because it means that these “Christians” don’t own a Bible.

The truth about Jesus is partly in the Bible, however, it will truly reside in your heart. So, I advise anyone who is reading this to truly connect to their hearts to get the answer. I am not forcing my religion upon anyone because it is ultimately a choice for each & every individual to make on their own…

But, I am a factual, logical person, so here are just some “trivial” facts about prophecy:

In 1969, Professor Stoner (yeah, I know it’s funny) conducted various staistical analyses (Peter Stoner, Science Speaks, Chicago: Moody Press, 1969, 4). For example, concerning Micah 5:2, where it states the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem Ephrathah, Stoner and his students determined the average population of BETHLEHEM from the time of Micah to the present; then they divided it by the average population of the earth during the same period.

They concluded that the chance of one man being born in Bethlehem was one in 300,000, (or one in 2.8 x 10^5 – rounded),

After examining only eight different prophecies (Idem, 106), they conservatively estimated that the chance of one man fulfilling all eight prophecies was one in 10^17.

To illustrate how large the number 10^17 IS (a figure with 17 zeros), Stoner gave this illustration :

If you mark one of ten tickets, and place all the tickets in a hat, and thoroughly stir them, and then ask a blindfolded man to draw one, his chance of getting the right ticket is one in ten. Suppose that we take 10^17 silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They’ll cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up one silver dollar and say that this is the right one. What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would’ve had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man, from their day to the present time, providing they wrote them in their own wisdom (Idem, 106-107).

In financial terms, is there anyone who would not invest in a financial venture if the chance of failure were only one in 10^17? This is the kind of sure investment we’re offered by god for faith in His Messiah.

From these figures, Professor Stoner, concludes the fulfillment of these eight prophecies alone proves that God inspired the writing of the prophecies (Idem, 107) – the likelihood of mere chance is only one in 10^17!

Another way of saying this is that any person who minimizes or ignores the significance of the biblical identifying signs concerning the Messiah would be foolish.

But, of course, there are many more than eight prophecies. In another calculation, Stoner used 48 prophecies (Idem, 109) (even though he could have used Edersheim’s 456), and arrived at the extremely conservative estimate that the probability of 48 prophecies being fulfilled in one person is the incredible number 10^157. In fact, if anybody can find someone, living or dead, other than Jesus, who can fulfill only half of the predictions concerning the Messiah given in the book “Messiah in Both Testaments” by Fred J. Meldau, the Christian Victory Publishing Company is ready to give a ONE thousand dollar reward! As apologist Josh McDowell says, “There are a lot of men in the universities that could use some extra cash!” (Josh McDowell, Evidence that Demands a Verdict, California: Campus Crusade for Christ, 175).

How large is the number one in 10^157? 10^157 contains 157 zeros! Stoner gives an illustration of this number using electrons. Electrons are very small objects. They’re smaller than atoms. It would take 2.5 TIMES 10^15 of them, laid side by side, to make one inch. Even if we counted 250 of these electrons each minute, and counted day and night, it would still take 19 million years just to count a line of electrons one-inch long (Stoner, op. cit, 109).

With this introduction, let’s go back to our chance of one in 10^157. Let’s suppose that we’re taking this number of electrons, marking one, and thoroughly stirring it into the whole mass, then blindfolding a man and letting him try to find the right one. What chance has he of finding the right one? What kind of a pile will this number of electrons make? They make an inconceivably large volume.

This is the result from considering a mere 48 prophecies. Obviously, the probability that 456 prophecies would be fulfilled in one man by chance is vastly smaller. According to Emile Borel, once one goes past one chance in 10^50, the probabilities are so small that it is impossible to think that they will ever occur (Ankerberg et. al., op. cit., 21).

As Stoner concludes, ‘Any man who rejects Christ as the Son of God is rejecting a fact, proved perhaps more absolutely than any other fact in the world (Stoner, op. cit., 112).’

My only question is this: Will YOU be on the right side when it all comes down? You’d better be very sure of yourself whatever you choose. God gave us free will so that you & you alone could choose your path…

With Love to all of my Brothers & Sisters everywhere,

  23. Doubting Like Thomas says

I salute your scholarship, Susie Q.
So, what does your scholarship indicate as the true meaning of KJV Matt 12:31?
If I have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit, and if Jesus actually said what it is alleged that He said, and if He wasn’t just kidding around, then I am doomed anyway, and there’s no point in trying to get forgiveness.

  24. Susie Q says

    Hi DLT –

LOL -By no means am I a “scholar” – maybe in certain areas. I have so much to learn, still. But, I try my best to seek the truth in all for which I opine. I do know, however, that forgiveness is a basic Christian principle.

Even better, I can look it up in my Life Application Study Bible (NKJV) because I am often confused by passages that seem to contradict. It does a great job in explaining passages – what they really mean. So, here is what it says (hope this helps!):

12:31, 32 “The Pharisees had blasphemed against the Spirit by attributing the power by which Christ did miracles to Satan (12:24) instead of the Holy Spirit. the unforgiveable sin is the deliberate refusal to acknowledge God’s power in Christ. It indictaes a deliberate & irreversable hardness of heart. Sometimes believers worry that they accidentally committed thi sunforgiveable sin. But only those who have turned their backs on God & rejected all faith have any need to worry. Jesus said they can’t be forgiven – not because their sin is worse than any other, but because they will never ask for forgiveness. Whoever rejects the prompting of the Holy Spirit removes himself or herself from the only force that can lead him or her to repentance and restoration to God.”

I think that hit the nail on the head as far as your questions? Ask & you shall receive, my friend. 😉 If there is anything else I can try to help you with, please let me know & I’ll do my bestestest. ‘Til then, lots of sisterly love to you –

    ‘SQ

  25. Doubting Like Thomas says

Well, that’s nice to know. Next 2 questions: If we agree that the Laws of Physics are the alphabet with which God wrote the Universe, why did the Holy Spirit not influence the Council of Nicaea in such a manner as to PREVENT anything as obviously contrary to them as the myth of the First Rainbow from getting into the Bible? And why would a belief in the historical accuracy of that myth, and/or a belief in the deeper-than-Everest flood, be a requirement for salvation?

  26. Susie Q says

    Hello DLT!

Sorry, I have been offline for a few days. Many, if not all Christians (including myself) struggle with doubts, confusion & questions about certain events in the Bible. That will not hurt your salvation. But having no faith in Jesus will.

If you accept Jesus as your Lord & Savior, believe that he died on the cross for your sins, believe this in your heart & profess it by mouth, you will be saved.

The fact that you are asking the tough questions leads me to believe that you want to believe, but you are struggling with certain biblical truths. It’s OK to struggle. But, I believe that your interest in this is not coincidence. I believe that you are one of the ones chosen by God to become a believer. It’s up to you to make that choice…

    God Bless You –
    Susie Q.

  27. Quintin John says

We don’t judge the Bible, the Bible judges us! If it seems alive and vibrant, that is because our hearts are alive and vibrant. If it seems dry and dull… well… you get the point. But the Bible doesn’t leave us there. If we can see the Scripture as a living entity, a force that can penetrate our soul, then we can approach it as a life changing experience. What happens in your heart when you read the Scripture? The words of God were given to penetrate to your core. Let it!May GOD Bless you all

  28. Doubting Like Thomas says

Quintin John, you confuse me. It seems as though you are saying that the myth of the First Rainbow, and other obvious errors of fact, including contradictions reported by alleged eyewitnesses to the events, were put in the Bible by God, for a specific reason. The only reason I can think of, to produce a deliberately confusing and contradictory collection of stories, would be to teach the reader “Do NOT accept these as literal factual stories.” But there are those who inform me that, unless I do accept them all as EXACTLY that, I am denying God’s Own Word, and will end up damned.
Are those people full of baloney, or are they warning me of actual consequences for doubting the Rainbow and the Flood and the backspin on the planet?
I am told that god made the Laws of Physics, and can change or disregard them as His mood moves Him, hence all the Miracles, including a reversal of planetary rotation, WITHOUT massive destruction of buildings, people, and geological features. (You couln’t throw an automobile into reverse, at 50 KPH, without damaging it. How about a planet, at over 1,000KPH??)
OK, so, God made all the Rules about getting into Heaven. And He can change them, allowing NON-Christians in, if the mood moves Him. Same God, same ability to change things. Do I have the proper parallel reasoning?

  29. Man of the one, true God says

Hey DLT, sorry I’ve been away so long but work can consume you sometimes. I’ve been keeping up with these along the way and I think Susie Q has been hitting the nail right on the head. You’re digging to deep into things that don’t matter right now. What we all want is to see your soul saved and know that you have trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You are not damned b/c you are asking questions, it is a good thing that you are curious about the word of God and are seeking the truth. You can always be forgiven of anything and it’s never to late until you are standing before God in judgement. All we are saying is that the only sin God can’t forgive is you not asking for forgiveness at all.

You do have the right understanding that God created everything and can manipulate things however he sees fit but his rules on who will get into heaven are set in stone. One of my biggest pet peeves is the saying that all roads lead to God. I don’t know where you are from but if I get on I-24 in South Carolina and go south, will I end up in Chicago? Of course not. It’s the same way with God and heaven. God made one way to get into heaven and that is thru his one and only perfect son, Jesus Christ. He sent his son here to die on a cross b/c he loved man kind so much that he wanted to offer them a way to spend all eternity with him, all you have to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and ask him to save you. As you study more and more in God’s word, God will lead you and show that is word is solid and has been/always will be perfect and true. I use to doubt like you as well before I was saved but showed me one day how there were over 300 prophecies of Jesus in the old testament, some ranging from 1,000 years before his birth, and all of them came true. Do you not think those came from men? No, God inspired that word in men that’s why they all became true. God is all knowing and all powerful, everything you see on earth today is his and he created it. The doubt you experiencing, my friend, is the devil working on you. Just trust in God and he’ll show you the words in his book are completely true.

  30. Doubting Like Thomas says

Please don’t insult God’s intelligence! God may have Intelligently Designed multiple paths to Paradise, and may have allowed EACH of them to proclaim themselves to be the ONLY one, just to make it easier for those who chose one (ANY one, not to be distracted by the others.

One may start in South Carolina, and, by various routes, and by foot or several types of vehicle, eventually arrive in Chicago. Your analogy would be similar to saying that one may ONLY reach Chicago by way of Vancouver BC, on a tricycle. You imply that you KNOW that God would not be merciful to anyone who is not a Bible-believing Christian. Dismas could not POSSIBLY have believed in Acts, the Epistles, or Revelation, since they had not been written until AFTER Jesus personally promised him “Paradise”, no later than sundown of whichever day the Crucifixion occurred. Now—- If ALL the words in His book are completely true, please explain how Jesus is reported to have been crucified ON the first day of passover, around 9A.M. (Mark 14:12 & Mark 15:25) and ALSO crucified a day earlier, on the day BEFORE Passover, after noon. (Luke 19:14).
Since both reports are allegedly eyewitness accounts, one of them has got to be flat-out wrong, incorrect, IMperfect, UNtrue.
Can you prove that the arrogance of YOUR declaration of KNOWING the written-in-stone limitations of God’s mercy is NOT the Devil working in you??

  31. Man of the one, true God says

I have never, and never will insult God’s intelligence. You ask questions of how to get into heaven and call me arrogant for saying that Jesus is the only way but yet in John 14:6 Jesus said himself “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”, Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Many people say “I’m basically a good person, so I’ll go to heaven.” “OK, so I do some bad things, but I do more good things, so I’ll go to heaven.” “God won’t send me to hell just because I don’t live by the Bible. Times have changed!” “Only really bad people like child molesters and murderers go to hell.”

These are all common rationalizations, but the truth is that they are all lies. Satan, the ruler of the world, plants these thoughts in our heads. He, and anyone who follows his ways, is an enemy of God (1Peter 5:8). Satan is a deceiver and often disguises himself as someone good (2 Corinthians 11:14), but he has control over all the minds that do not belong to God. “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

It is a lie to believe that God doesn’t care about small sins or that hell is reserved for “bad people.” All sin separates us from God, even a “little white lie.” Everyone has sinned, and no one is good enough to get to heaven on their own (Romans 3:23). Getting into heaven is not based on whether our good outweighs our bad; we will all lose out if that is the case. “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.” (Romans 11:6). We can do nothing good to earn our way to heaven (Titus 3:5).

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat” (Matthew 7:13). Even if everyone else is living a life of sin in a culture where trusting in God is not popular, God will not excuse it. “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:1-2).

When God created the world, it was perfect and good. Then he made Adam and Eve and gave them their own free will, so they would have a choice whether to follow and obey God. But they were tempted by Satan to disobey God, and they sinned. This separated them (and everyone that came after them, including us) from being able to have a close relationship with God. He is perfect and holy and must judge sin. As sinners, we couldn’t reconcile ourselves to God on our own. So God made a way that we could be united with Him in heaven. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Jesus was born to die for our sins so that we would not have to. Three days after His death, He rose from the grave (Romans 4:25), proving Himself victorious over death. He bridged the gap between God and man so that we may have a personal relationship with Him if we only believe.

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” (John 17:3). Most people believe in God, even Satan does. But to receive salvation, we must turn to God, form a personal relationship, turn away from our sins, and follow Him. We must trust in Jesus with everything we have and everything we do. “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference” (Romans 3:22). The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation than through Christ. Jesus says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) – the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

What I speak to you brother isn’t arrogance words coming from me, it is the living word of God written in his book The Bible. I have the courage to speak these words b/c I know I am saved and I am a child of God, no matter what anyone says to me I know the truth b/c God wrote it in a book and gave it to me. “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (john 6:63) The words of God and complete truth and life.

  32. Man of the one, true God says

None of them are lying. I don’t know where you are getting that in mark 14 Jesus is dead? “And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?” His disciples are talking to him here so he can’t be dead. Mark 15 “And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.” means that at around 3 o’clock Jesus dies on the cross. Luke 19;14 says “But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.” This is parable about a nobleman spoken from Jesus to Zacchaeus. There’s no contradiction to me in either of those passages?

  33. Quintin John says

But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children- with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precept. The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. – Psalm 103:17-19

  34. Susie Q says

    God Bless You JQ!

Hey DLT – how you holding up, there buddy? Please let me know if/when you have acceptance of Jesus as your savior. I would love to know! 😉 It will begin to change your life… Can’t hurt, can it?

  35. Doubting Like Thomas says

Somebody posts a lie, bearing false witness, which Yaweh says we are not to do.
And the lie is that NASA proves the Bible.
I haven’t seen much or many posts by the Christians on this site, condemning the bearing of false witness.
Odd that those who have accepted the King James Bible as an indisputable collection of plain facts, are able to pretend that the persons who continue to spread the NASA story as true, are not breaking one of the Commandments. Plain fact is, the Bible commands us NOT to bear false witness.
If I am allowed to ignore whatever passages I find inconvenient, the same way they who spread the NASA lie are allowed to. then embracing Christianity should be extremely easy.

Meanwhile, does anybody want to explain away the information in the videos that show up on Youtube, when one types in the keywords
    brief bible blunders
    I find them fascinating.
